BIRTH: Edward is identified as deceased in the estate division of his father, Robert Tuck of Hampton, 11 Apr 1665 (PROBATE RECORDS OF THE PROVINCE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE, 9 vols., repr of New Hampshire State Papers Series, vols. 31-39 [Bowie, MD, 1989-90], 1:79 [FHL #974.2 P2p]). He is also called son of Robert Tuck in his own death rec, below. Date and place of birth are approximations.
MAR: No mar rec found. Edward's estate recs, below, show that he left a widow. Her name is not mentioned. However, it is clear that she was the widow Mary Wall of Hampton, who was died in Oct 1702. On 9 Feb 1702/3, administration of her estate was granted to her son John Tuck, a proved son of Edward (PROBATE RECORDS OF THE PROVINCE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE, 1:497-99). Mary apparently married James Wall of Hampton after the death of Edward Tuck, for the will of James Wall, 20 Sep 1659, proved 4 Oct 1659, identifies his wife Mary and her two children (unnamed). Guardianship of the minor children was granted to their uncle Thomas Philbrick of Hampton, 8 Oct 1672 (PROBATE RECORDS OF THE PROVINCE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE, 1:41-43). Thomas Philbrick is the son of Thomas Philbrick of Hampton, whose will, 12 Mar 1664, proved 8 Oct 1667, identifies, among others, son Thomas and dau Mary (PROBATE RECORDS OF THE PROVINCE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE, 1:71-72). Hence, Mary, dau of Thomas Philbrick married (1) Edward Tuck and (2) James Wall.
