MAR: No mar rec found. Children of Ezekiel Worthen and his wife Hannah were born at Amesbury, 1733-1754. Hannah is identified in the will of her father, William Currier of Amesbury, 30 Oct 1746, proved 13 Apr 1752, Essex Co. Probate, (o.s.) 330:391 (FHL #875135).
DEATH: Various death dates are found. Date of 17 Sep 1783, aged 73 yrs, is perhaps the most reliable, as it came from the records of Rev. Jeremiah Fogg. The entry is found in Roland D. Sawyer, comp, "Kensington Vital Statistics - Marriages and Deaths" (typescript, 1943), pt. 2, p. 8 (FHL #015563 item 13). Two copies of Ezekiel's gravestone inscription, cited below, offer different dates. Also see the will of Ezekiel Worthen of Kensington, 23 Sep 1782, proved 19 Nov 1783, inv 21 Nov 1783, Rockingham Co. Probate Files, #4951 (FHL #1617461).
BUR: "Kensington, New Hampshire Cemetery Inscriptions" (typescript, n.d.), 8 (FHL #015563 item 2). In his 74th yr. Death date is given as 16 Oct 1783. Name of the cemetery is not given. The cemetery name was given as "Old Yard" in Sawyer, "Kensington Vital Statistics - Marriages and Deaths," pt. 2, p. 78 1/2. This record gives a death date of 17 Oct 1783.

She is called Margerite in birth entry but Margery in the will of her father, Ezekiel Worthen of Amesbury, 6 May 1715, proved 6 Aug 1716, Essex Co. Probate, (o.s.) 311:420-23 (FHL #875127). She is called both Margaret and Margery on the birth recs of some of her children born in Amesbury (VITAL RECORDS OF AMESBURY, 251-53).
MAR: No mar rec found. She is called Margery "Weed" in her father's will, above. George and Margery Weed were among the heirs of Ezekiel Worthen who quitclaimed their interest to part of their father's estate to John Worthen, 22 Apr 1709 (Essex Co. Deeds, 56:8 [FHL #866039]). George and Margery/Margaret Weed had children born in Amesbury, 1700-1714/5 (VITAL RECORDS OF AMESBURY, 251-53).
