BIRTH: William Gedney Wallbridge, DESCENDANTS OF HENRY WALLBRIDGE (Litchfield, CT, 1898), 73 (FHL #982238 item 8). No proof found in original source records. However, John Walbridge of Sharon, Vermont sold land to Henry on 13 Jan 1802, the same day that he sold land to William and Josiah Walbridge, also reputed sons of John (Sharon Deeds, 5:133 [FHL #028909]). Wallbridge states that Henry was born on 2 Oct 1789, but this is not possible. Henry would have been only 12 yrs old when he received land in 1802, and Selah Walbridge, Henry's brother was born on 2 Aug 1789. Henry was probably born in Coventry about 1780.
