- BIRTH: E. D. Hines, comp, "Copy of Book Marked A of the Town Records of Topsfield" (transcript, 1881), 7 (FHL #887762).
MAR: No mar rec found. Children of Benjamin Bixby and wife Martha were born at Topsfield in 1704 and 1705. Martha Bixby is identified as a dau in the will of John Lampson of Ipswich, 23 Jun 1712, proved 17 Jun 1713, Essex Co. Probate, (o.s.) 312:67-68 (FHL #875127).
DEATH: Entry in diary of Rev. Marston Cabot of Thompson states that Benjamin died in early Dec 1744. The diary is cited in Ellen D. Larned, "Thompson, Connecticut First Families," 13 (FHL #015585). This work appears to be a scrapbook of articles published serially in a newspaper. Thompson was created by a division of Killingly in 1785.
