- BIRTH: No birth/chr rec found. Bovingdon par regs lost before 1674 (BTs exist from 1604). Although there is no proof that John is a son of Richard Gould, it seems very likely. John had 3 children who settled in Essex Co., Mass., where siblings Zaccheus and Priscilla settled. Furthermore, John gave a son the unusual name of Zaccheus. Kings Langley, where John is buried, borders the parish of Bovingdon. John's date and place of birth are approximations.
