- BIRTH: Birth info is from Revolutionary War pension file of Peter Sanborn, National Archives, #W24883 (FHL #972115). In his deposition of 1 Sep 1832, Peter stated that he was born in Sandown on 7 Aug 1752 "old style." A contemporary family record submitted by his widow gives his birth date as 18 Aug 1752, apparently adjusting for the calendar change. Sandown was a parish of Kingston until it became a town in 1756.
