- BIRTH: Daniel is listed as a son of Moses Sanborn in V. C. Sanborn, GENEALOGY OF THE FAMILY OF SAMBORNE OR SANBORN (Privately printed, 1899), 179 (FHL #599237 item 2). No evidence has been found in original source records.
MAR #1: "State's Copy of the Records of Hampstead" (transcript, n.d.; Secretary of State, Concord, NH), 2:856 (FHL #015158). "Both of Sandown." She is incorrectly called "Sarah" Wells in Sanborn, GENEALOGY, 179.
MAR #2: No mar rec found. Children of Daniel Sanborn and wife Nancy were born at Sandown, 1815, 1817 (Sandown Town Records, 2:689 [FHL #015311]). The wife is identified as Nancy Wells in Sanborn, GENEALOGY, 179. Timothy Wells was a surety of the estate of Daniel Sanborn, below.
