(Boston, 1992-98), 1:43 (FHL #974.26/H3 V2s).The original ms is damaged and birth year is not completely legible. Birth year is fixed at 1709 in V. C. Sanborn, GENEALOGY OF THE FAMILY SAMBORNE OR SANBORN (Privately printed, 1899), 100 (FHL #599237 item 2). Perhaps the document was legible in 1899. However, Nathan was listed as age 77 on 1783 death rec, below, suggesting he may have been born ca. 1706. Nevertheless, V. C. Sanborn's date is followed here, as ages at death are often incorrect, and there is a strong probability that Sanborn saw the rec before the damage to the text was great.
MAR: No mar rec found. A wife Catherine is identified in his will, below. She is called Catherine Sattalee in Sanborn, GENEALOGY OF THE FAMILY OF SAMBORNE OR SANBORN, 100 (FHL #599237 item 2). No evidence has been found to support this assertion. Sanborn fixes the year of mar at 1733.
