- BIRTH: Birth rec is not found in vital recs but is reported in several published sources. See William Prescott, THE PRESCOTT MEMORIAL (Boston, 1870), 231 (FHL #982013 item 3); also Sybil Noyes, Charles Thornton Libby, and Walter Goodwin Davis, GENEALOGICAL DICTIONARY OF MAINE AND NEW HAMPSHIRE (Portland, ME, 1928-39; repr Baltimore, 1979), 568 (FHL #974 D2n). Joshua's father is identified in New Hampshire Province Court Files, #17379 (FHL #978282). Joshua and his father were charged in 1719 with forging a deed.
MAR: No mar rec found. However, Sarah, dau of Israel Clifford, was presented for having a child shortly after marriage to Joshua Prescott. Warrant for her arrest is dated 12 Oct 1710 (New Hampshire Province Court Files, #17845 [FHL #978285]).
DEATH: No death rec found. Joshua was living in Kingston on 6 Mar 1726/7 when he and James Prescott sold land to Trustram Sanborn (New Hampshire Province Deeds, 15:244 [FHL #015416]).
