MAR: No mar rec found. Three children of John Boulter and his wife Martha were born at Hampton, 1700-1703. Martha was the wife of Bryan Dore by 14 Dec 1703, when he was granted administration on the estate of John Boulter (PROBATE RECORDS OF THE PROVINCE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE, repr of New Hampshire State Papers Series, vols. 31-39, [Bowie, MD, 1989-90], 1:509-10 [FHL #974.26 P2p]). She was 3rd the wife of Philip Towle. On 27 Nov 1722, Martha, "widow of Philip Towle, late of Hampton, dec'd," sold land to Jacob Moulton with her three children, Nathaniel, John, and Lydia Boulter, all proved children of John Boulter (New Hampshire Province Deeds, 27:368 [FHL #015422]). On 6 Feb 1723/4 the heirs of John Jackson, including Martha Towle, sold land to "our brother" Samuel Jackson of Portsmouth (Ibid, 13:405 [FHL #015415]). Hence, Martha Jackson, dau of John Jackson, married (1) John Boulter, (2) Bryan Dore, and (3) PhilipTowle.
