- CHR: Easthampstead par reg (FHL #088251). The year is written 1633 and 1634 in par reg, but the date is clearly 5 Oct 1634 in Easthampstead BTs (FHL #1279456 item 23). John is identified in a deed from his father, Richard Swaine of Nantucket, 28 Feb 1676 (Nantucket Co. Deeds, 2:23 [FHL #906232]). John Swaine of Nantucket deposed on 5 Apr 1703, aged 70 or thereabouts, in the case of a cow belonging to Christopher Hussey (Suffolk Co., Mass. Court Files, #162676 [FHL #946535]).
