MAR: No mar rec found. Abigail is identified as the wife of Matthias Haines, Jr, of Greenland, NH in a deed from the heirs of John Sherburne of Portsmouth, deceased, to Nathaniel Sherburne, 19 Mar 1739/40 (New Hampshire Province Deeds, 24:422 [FHL #015420]).
DEATH: No death rec found. Abigail probably died in Greenland between 1739/40, when the above deed was made, and 19 Mar 1759, when her mother's will was written. Abigail is not mentioned in her mother's will with her siblings. Her portion went to her husband, Matthias Haines, suggesting that Abigail was then deceased (PROBATE RECORDS OF THE PROVINCE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE, 9 vols., repr of New Hampshire State Papers Series, vols. 31-39 [Bowie, MD, 1989-90], 6:392 [FHL #974.2 P2p]).
