MAR #1: No mar rec found. The wife of David Worthen is identified as Dorothy Colby on their children's birth recs, 1758-1765 (BIRTH: Chester Vital Records, 1:145 [FHL #2057030]).
MAR #2: She is identified as Dorothy "Cheese" [Chase] in the will of her father, Enoch Colby of Chester, 5 Jan 1779, proved 30 Aug 1780, Rockingham Co. Probate Files, #4645 (FHL #016194). Dorothy is identified as the wife of Jacob Chase of Chester in a deed from the heirs of Enoch Colby to Caleb Hall of Chester, 27 Oct 1781 (Rockingham Co. Deeds, 198:108 [FHL #016277]). Dorothy married Jacob Chase between 1775, when his 1st wife Prudence died, and 1779, when Enoch Colby wrote his will.
