MAR #2: No mar rec found. Widow Sarah Sherburne is mentioned in Henry's estate records, below, which also indicate she was the former widow of Walter Abbott. Abbott died in 1667, as did Henry Sherburne's 1st wife, Rebecca.

See the inv of estate of Henry Sherburne [of Portsmouth], 26 Mar 1681 and 7 Sep 1681; order for division, 7 Jun 1681 (PROBATE RECORDS OF THE PROVINCE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE, 9 vols., repr of New Hampshire State Papers Series, vols. 31-39 [Bowie, MD, 1989-90], 1:252 [FHL #974.2 P2p]). Henry's place of residence is not indicated, but numerous sources show he was of Portsmouth.
