DEATH: No death rec found. He is apparently the James Sherbone, age 15, who was transported from London to Virginia aboard the "Thomas & John" in 1635 (Peter Wilson Coldham, THE COMPLETE BOOK OF EMIGRANTS, 1607-1660 [Baltimore, 1987], 148 [FHL #973 W2col]). He was living in Virginia in 1639 and 1642, probably in Charles River Co. (Nell Marion Nugent, CAVALIERS AND PIONEERS, ABSTRACTS OF VIRGINIA LAND PATENTS AND GRANTS, 5 vols. [Richmond, 1934-94; repr vol. 1, Baltimore, 1963], 1:120, 136 [FHL #975.5 R2n]).
