- BIRTH: No birth/chr rec found. Samuel is identified in the will of his father, William Worcester of Salisbury, 18 Oct 1662, proved 2 Dec 1662 (THE PROBATE RECORDS OF ESSEX COUNTY, 3 vols. [Salem, MA, 1916-20],1:403-406 [FHL #974.45 P2p]). Date of birth is an approximation. He was no doubt born in Olney, Bucks where his father was vicar, 1624-1636. The par reg is missing for this period. BTs are missing for 1633, which is probably the year of Samuel's birth.
