- BIRTH: Mary is identified in the will of her father, John Eaton of Rowington, 4 Jan 1547/8, proved 22 Nov 1548, Court of the Dean & Chapter of Worcester, reg wills, V:243 (FHL #097877). Date and place of birth are approximations.
MAR: Mary was apparently single when her father wrote his will in 1547/8, but she is called Mary "Crane" in the will of her brother, Thomas Eaton of Rowington, 30 Apr 1571, proved 6 Jul 1571, Consistory Court of Worcester, orig wills, #83 (FHL #097911). The same will makes Humphrey Crane of Warwick co-executor with his wife Isabel. The will of Humphrey Crane of Warwick, 23 Feb 1585/6, proved 18 May 1586, confirms that he had a wife Mary and mentions land in Rowington (P.C.C., 26 Windsor [FHL #091969]). Hence, it appears that Mary Eaton married Humphrey Crane.
DEATH: Mary was living on 23 Feb 1585/6, when she was mentioned in her husband's will, above.
