- BIRTH: VITAL RECORDS OF NEWBURY, 2 vols (Salem, MA, 1911), 1:373 (FHL #974.45/N1 V28v).
MAR #1: No mar rec found. Children of James Ordway and his wife Tirzah were born at Newbury in 1691 and 1693 (Ibid, 1:373, 374). James Ordway received a portion in the estate distribution of Thomas Bartlett, late of Newbury, 2 Oct 1699, "in right of his late wife Tirza Bartlett alias Ordway late relict of ye aforenamed Thomas Bartlett...." (Essex Co. Probate, [o.s.] 307:6 [FHL #875125]). Thomas Bartlett married Tirzah Titcomb at Newbury, 24 Nov 1685 (VITAL RECORDS OF NEWBURY, 2:488). Shedied, 10 Jan 1695/6 (Ibid, 2:680).
MAR #2: VITAL RECORDS OF ROWLEY, 2 vols. (Salem, MA, 1928-31), 1:358 (FHL #974.45/R1 V28v). The mar is also recorded in VITAL RECORDS OF NEWBURY, 2:366. "At Rowley."
