MAR #2: VITAL RECORDS OF AMESBURY (Topsfield, MA, 1913), 359 (FHL #974.45/A1 V2a). Husband was "of Newbury." The wife is called Mary "Sargent." She is apparently the widow of Thomas Sargent, who died at Amesbury, 1 May 1719 (Ibid, 585). Thomas Sargent and Mary Stevens were married at Amesbury, 17 Dec 1702 (Ibid, 475).
