- BIRTH: No birth rec found. Nathaniel Barnard, a proved son of Thomas Barnard, called Robert Barnard "father-in-law" in his own will, 7 Apr 1718-11 Jun 1718, Nanctucket Co. Probate, 1:44-45 (FHL #906832). Nathaniel's wife is called Mary in deed from Nathaniel Barnard to his children, 13 May 1713 (Nantucket Co. Deeds, 3:72 [FHL #906232]) and again on her death rec, below. Hence, it appears that Mary, dau of Robert Barnard, married her cousin Nathaniel Barnard, son of Thomas. Date and place of Mary's birth is an approximation.
