MAR #1: The will of Thomas Look of Tisbury, 4 Dec 1725, proved Jan 1725/6, identifies his dau Jane "West." Abner West receipted for his portion of the Thomas Look estate on 4 Jun 1726 (Dukes Co. Probate, 2:11-12 [FHL #911747]) [FHL #911747]). Jane, wife of John Cottle of Chilmark, administered his estate, 25 Nov 1705. The widow Jane was called wife of Abner West when she received her portion in the estate division, in Apr 1723 (Dukes Co. Probate, 1:22, 142 (FHL #911747). Hence, Jane married (1) John Cottle, and (2) Abner West.
