- BIRTH: William Gedney Wallbridge, DESCENDANTS OF HENRY WALLBRIDGE (Litchfield, CT, 1898), 100 (FHL #982238 item 8). No proof found in original source records. However, John Walbridge of Sharon, Vermont sold land to Josiah on 13 Jan 1802, the same day that he sold land to William and Henry Walbridge, also reputed sons of John (Sharon Deeds, 5:95 [FHL #028909]). Date of birth is included on gravestone, below.
MAR: No mar rec found. Children of Josiah Walbridge and his wife Rosamon were born at Sharon, 1801-1811 (Sharon Vital Records, 1:91 [FHL #028906]). Death record of their son Josiah Walbridge, 22 Sep 1885, identifies parents as Josiah Walbridge and "Rosmond" Chamberlin (Vermont Vital Records, 2nd series [FHL #540156]). Death rec of son Spencer calls mother "Rosmer" Chamberlin (Ibid).
