- BIRTH: No birth rec found. John preceded his father in death, but his son, John Parmenter, is called "grandson" in the will of John Parmenter of Roxbury, 25 Mar 1671, not proved for lack of executors appearing, 25 Jul 1671, Suffolk Co. Probate, misc docket, (o.s.) 7:146-47 (FHL #584128). John is also mentioned in the will of his grandfather, William Parmenter of Little Yeldham, 12 Oct 1613, proved 19 Jan 1617/8, Commissary Court of the Bishop of London (Essex & Herts Div), orig wills, box 30 (FHL #094386). Date of birth is calculated from age 55 on deposition, 16 Jun 1665, Suffolk Co. Court Files, #715 (FHL #911118). Place of birth was probably in the vicinity of Little Yeldham, the Parmenter's home parish, although his baptism is not recorded there.
MAR: No mar rec found. A wife Amy is identified in John's will, below.
