Notes |
- CHR: "Records of the Congregational Church in Wenham," NEHGR, 62(1908):36 (FHL #974 B2ne). Parents names are not given in chr entry and birth is not recorded in Wenham vital recs. However, it is highly probable that Samuel is the son of Samuel and Deborah Killam of Wenham. No other Killam family has been found into which Samuel could fit. Samuel named a dau Deborah, apparently after his mother. At least two other sons of Samuel and Deborah Killam, John and Benjamin, went to New London Co., Conn.
MAR: "Windham Births, Marriages, Deaths, 1692-1850," Barbour Collection (typescript, 1920; Conn. State Library), 144 (FHL #002983).
DEATH: No death rec found. See the will of Samuel Killam of Preston, 14 Nov 1754, proved 20 Oct 1756, inv 9 Nov 1756, Norwich, Conn. District Probate Files, #6153 (FHL #1025867).
