Also recorded in "Hampshire Records of Births, Marriages, and Deaths" (private ms of John Pynchon), entries for Hadley, p. 223 (FHL #014766). Date is recorded as 8 "June" 1668 in the latter rec.
MAR #2: No mar rec found. Obadiah had a wife Mehitable by 20 Sep 1692 when they sold land in Hadley to Peter Montague (Hampshire Co. Deeds, A:147 [FHL #844486]). She may be the dau of Samuel Hinsdale, according to Sylvester Judd, HISTORY OF HADLEY...WITH FAMILY GENEALOGIES BY LUCIUS BOLTWOOD (Northampton, MA, 1863), 476 (FHL #824493). No proof has been found.
DEATH: "Wethersfield Births, Marriages, Deaths, 1634-1868," Barbour Collection (typescript, 1927; Conn. State Library, Hartford), 95 (FHL #002982). Aged about 57 1/2 yrs.
