Sarah is identified as a 12-yr-old dau in the inv and distribution of the estate of her father, Nathaniel Foote of Wethersfield, 20 Nov 1644, Hartford District Probate, abstracted in Charles W. Manwaring, ed, DIGEST OF THE EARLY CONNECTICUT PROBATE RECORDS, 3 vols. (Hartford, 1904-1906), 1:12 (FHL #974.6 P2m).
MAR: No mar rec found. She is called Sarah Judson, "deceased," in the will of her mother, widow Elizabeth (Foote) Welles of Wethersfield, 28 Mar 1678, no probate act, Hartford District Probate, abstracted in Manwaring, DIGEST, 1:379. Lands belonging to Sarah Judson of Stratford, wife of Jeremiah Judson, which were given to her by her mother, Elizabeth Welles, were recorded at Wethersfield, 30 Apr 1672 (Wethersfield Deeds, 2:213 [FHL #005991]).
DEATH: Year of death is from Abram W. Foote, FOOTE FAMILY, 2nd ed, 2 vols. (Rutland, VT, 1907; repr Hughson, CA, 1974), 1:25 (FHL #929.273 F739faw). The date is not confirmed in original source records. She was dead before 28 Mar 1678, when her mother's will was written.
