DEATH: Isaac was captain of a company of militia when he was killed by the Indians at the Great Swamp Fight during King Philip's War. An account of this battle with official documents is found in George Madison Bodge, SOLDIERS IN KING PHILIP'S WAR (Boston, 1906; repr Baltimore, 1991), 159-63, 182-90 (FHL #974 M2b).
