MAR: Ibid, 1:3:47. Name of wife was Hannah "Cotler" in published record but her surname was interpreted as Hannah "Coller" in a 1852 transcript of Watertown vital recs (Joseph Craft, comp, "The Records of the Births, Marriages, and Deaths in the town of Watertown from the year 1630" [transcript, 1852], 112 [FHL #745869]).
DEATH: No death rec found. James is last of record in Watertown on 13 Jun 1721 when he was presented to the court for not attending public worship. James stated that the "weather was cold and he being gouty & infirm could not attend the same as he ought..." (Middlesex Co. Court of General Sessions, 1:395 [FHL #892252]).
OCC: Cordwainer, soldier in King Philip's War.
