Bromley, in the subsidy of 13 Oct 1544 (Lay subsidies, 108-255 and 109-261, cited in J. Gardner Bartlett, SIMON STONE GENEALOGY [Boston, 1926], 26, 32-33 [FHL #1018914 item 7]). Date and place of birth are approximations.
