- BIRTH: Date and place of birth are approximations. Thomas is said to be a son of Nicholas Finch (Fince) in Dean Crawford Smith, THE ANCESTRY OF EVA BELLE KEMPTON, 4 vols. in progress (Boston, 1996- ), 1:307 (FHL #929.273 K329sm). However, this identification seems to be based on an incorrect interpretation of the will of John Fince, one of the alleged sons of Nicholas.
MAR: No mar rec found. Thomas Fince had children baptized at Ardleigh, 1559-76. His wife is referred to as Agnes and Annis on the last two chr entries.
