- BIRTH: Margaret is identified in the will of her father, Thomas Bignett of Hoxne, 16 Jan 1541/2, proved 6 Jun 1547, Archdeaconry Court of Suffolk, reg wills, 15:312 (FHL #096915). She is also identified in the will of her mother, widow Agnes Bignett of Hoxne, 20 May 1552, proved 7 Nov 1552, Archdeaconry Court of Suffolk, reg wills, 16:379 (FHL #096916). Margaret's four children are mentioned in the will of Agnes Bignett in 1552. It is suspected that Margaret was then about 30 yrs old.
MAR: She is referred to as Margaret "Fygge" in the will of her mother, above. She then had four children and was married perhaps about ten yrs. Symond Fygge, probably her husband, witnessed the will.
