- BIRTH: Michael is identified in the (Latin) will of his father, John A'Denne of Kingston, 7 Oct 1473, proved 20 Jan 1475/6, Archdeaconry Court of Canterbury, reg wills, 2:443 (FHL: #188918). Michael is also found on the pedigree of Denne of Denne, 1619 Visitation of Kent, in John Philipot, THE VISITATION OF KENT TAKEN IN THE YEARS 1619-1621 (London, 1898), Publications of the Harleian Society, 42:99-101 (FHL #942 B4h). Michael is called the son and heir of John Denne in another pedigree compiled in the mid-17th century by Henry Oxenden of Barham. See "Extracts from a Seventeenth Century Note-book," THE GENEALOGIST, n.s., 31(1915):272 (FHL #942 B2gqm). Date and place of birth are approximations.
MAR: The 1619 visitation of Kent, above, states that Michael's wife was Christian, daughter and heiress of (----) Combe. However, Christian is called the daughter and heiress of Robert Fort in the Oxenden pedigree, above.
DEATH: The Oxenden pedigree, above, claims Michael died in 9 Henry 7 [1493/4]. This is consistent with Michael's will probate date of 27 May 1493 in Archdeaconry Court of Canterbury, Act Books, 1:34 (FHL #189263). The will, however, was apparently not recorded.
