- BIRTH: Richard is identified as the son and heir of William Denne of Denne in the pedigree of Denne of Denne [parish of Kingston], 1619 Visitation of Kent (John Philipot, THE VISITATION OF KENT TAKEN IN THE YEARS 1619-1621 [London, 1898], Publications of the Harleian Society, 42:99-101 [FHL #942 B4h]). However, his father's inquisition post mortem shows that Richard had an elder brother Thomas who was the heir. Date and place of birth are approximations.
MAR: The identity of Thomas's wife is found in the 1619 visitation of Kent, above.
DEATH: Thomas's death about 15 Richard 2 [1391/2] was recorded in the mid-17th century by Henry Oxenden of Barham. See "Extracts from a Seventeenth Century Note-book," THE GENEALOGIST, n.s., 31(1915):272 (FHL #942 B2gqm).
