BUR: Ashford ATs (FHL #1751481 item 2). Also see the nuncupative will of John Asherst of Ashford, executed "four days before he died or thereabout," proved 14 Jun 1584, Archdeaconry Court of Canterbury, reg wills, 46:250 (FHL #188944). The will states only that "I have nothinge to gyve, I have geven away my lande by dede and my wiefe muste have the reste." No heirs are mentioned by name in the will, but the probate shows that the widow Elizabeth Asherst attested to the will.
