- BIRTH: William is identified in the will of his father, William Waterman of Bethersden, 16 Apr 1560, proved 17 Jun 1560, Archdeaconry Court of Canterbury, reg wills, 34:119 (FHL #188936). Date and place of birth are approximations.
MAR #1: No mar rec found. William's will, below, mentions a wife Thomasine, but the wording of the will suggests she is a second wife. It is unclear which children belong to which wife, although daughter Agnes was given items "that was her mothers." Agnes's will of 1586 shows that she is the sister of Edward. The children are arranged on this sheet in the order in which they appear in their father's will.
