- BIRTH: No birth rec found. John Scone is mentioned as an heir to the estate of Edmund Hart in 1673 (Hampshire Co. Probate, 1:148 [FHL #879184]). John had a wife Sarah, presumably the dau of Edmund Hart. Eight sisters of Elisha Hart of Windsor, a proved son of Edmund Hart, are mentioned (but not named) in his estate distribution, 6 Dec 1683, Hartford District Probate, abstracted in Charles W. Manwaring, ed, DIGESTOF THE EARLY CONNECTICUT PROBATE RECORDS, 3 vols. (Hartford, 1904-1906), 1:320 (FHL #974.6 P2m). Date and place of birth are approximations based on birth of her 1st child in 1674 and family history and chronology. See George W.
