MAR: No mar rec found in original source records. Nathaniel, son of Job and Abigail Strong was baptized at Portsmouth South Church, 26 Sep 1751 ("Records of the South Church of Portsmouth, N.H.," NEHGR, 82[1928]:27 [FHL #974 B2ne]). After Job's death, Abigail married Woodbridge Odlin at Exeter, NH, 23 Oct 1755 (transcript of original Exeter vital recs published in Charles H. Bell, HISTORY OF EXETER [Exeter, 1888], 34 [FHL #974.26/E1 H2b]). The division of estate of Peter Gilman, late of Exeter, 17 Oct 1789, included legacies to the heirs of Abigail Odlin, wife of Woodbridge (Rockingham Co., NH Probate Files, #5414 [FHL #1617136]). Hence, Abigail Gilman married (1) Job Strong and (2) Woodbridge Odlin. Mar date is found in Benjamin W. Dwight, THE HISTORY OF THE DESCENDANTS OF ELDER JOHN STRONG, 2 vols. (Albany, 1871; repr Baltimore, 1975), 2:1150 (FHL #929.273 St88d).
DEATH: "Literal Copies of all the Burial Inscriptions in the Old Graveyard called Point-of-Graves, Portsmouth, N.H.," 2 pts. (transcript, 1884), 2:251 (FHL #015571). Aged 27 [29?] yrs.
