- BIRTH: No birth/chr rec found. Samuel is called "uncle" in the will of Thomas Miller of Springfield, 30 Jul 1689, proved Mar 1690, Hampshire Co. Probate, 1:271 (FHL #879184). Thomas Miller's mother is Sarah(Marshfield) Miller, whose chr proves she is a dau of Thomas Marshfield. Date and place of birth are approximations.

MAR #2: Ibid, 1:14. The wife is called "widow Katherine Gilbert." She was the widow of Thomas Gilbert who died on 5 Jun 1662 (Ibid, 1:47). Thomas Gilbert and Katherine Bliss were married, 31 Jun 1655 (Ibid, 1:14). She was apparently the widow of Nathaniel Bliss who was buried on 18 Nov 1654 (Ibid, 1:47). Nathaniel Bliss and Katherine Chapin were married on 20 Nov 1646 (Ibid, 1:13).
