MAR: VITAL RECORDS OF BRIMFIELD (Boston, 1931), 220 (FHL #844538). Mar intentions filed in Springfield Vital Records, Marriages, 2:124 (FHL #185416). Wife was "widow Margaret Mighell of Brimfield," apparently the widow of John Mighell who died at Brimfield, 10 Jun 1758. John Mighell and Margaret Morgan were married there, 2 Feb 1748/8 (VITAL RECORDS OF BRIMFIELD, 101, 217).
DEATH: No death rec found. John was living in Springfield on 2 Oct 1789 when he sold land that had been laid out to his father to William Pynchon (Hampshire Co. Deeds [Springfield Reg], 29:573 [FHL #845708]).
