- BIRTH: Date and place of birth are approximations. John was listed as 24 yrs old on passenger list of the ship "Abigail" from London to Boston in 1635. See William B. Dibble, "John and Anne Burbank: A Suggested Identity," NEHGR, 94 (1940):393-94 (FHL #974 B2ne). However, this entry is transcribed as "Joseph Borebanck" in Peter Wilson Coldham, THE COMPLETE BOOK OF EMIGRANTS, 1607-1660 (Baltimore, 1987), 42 (FHL #973 W2col).
