MAR #1: No mar rec found. Children of William Clark and wife Sarah were born at Dorchester, 1638-1658/9.
MAR #2: Springfield Vital Records, 1:15 (FHL #185414). Wife is called "widow Sarah Cooper." She was the widow of Thomas Cooper, who was killed by the Indians at Springfield, 5 Oct 1675. William Clark of Northampton was made administrator of Cooper's estate on 28 Sep 1680 (Hampshire Co. Probate, 1:210 [FHL #879184]). The will of Capt. Robert Slye of St. Mary's Co., Maryland, 18 Jan 1670, proved 13 Mar 1670, mentions "nephews" Timothy and Thomas Cooper of Springfield, "children of Thomas and Sarah Cooper" (Maryland Provincial Wills, 1:422 [FHL #012841]). Hence, is appears that Sarah was the sister of Capt. Robert Slye. For additional evidence, see Clarence A.
