- BIRTH: No birth rec found. Matthew is identified in the will of his father, Thomas Noble of Westfield, 11 May 1697, proved 5 Sep 1704, Hampshire Co. Probate, 3:119 (FHL #879184). Date and place of birth are approximations based on family history and chronology. Also see Lucius M. MAR #1: Westfield Vital Records, A:47 (FHL #185474).
MAR #2: No mar rec found. An account of the estate of Matthew Noble, presented, 9 Jul 1745, includes 20 pounds due to the widow Anne Noble by an agreement made on 8 Nov 1733 (Hampshire Co. Probate, 6:265 [FHL #879185]). This was almost certainly a reference to a pre-nuptial agreement.
