CHR: Milford 1st Congregational Church recs, 1:6 (FHL #1012263 item 2). MAR #1: No mar rec found. A grandson, Daniel Collins, in mentioned in the will of Sarah's father, Thomas Tibbals of Milford, Dec 1699, proved 1 Jun 1703, New Haven, Conn. District Probate, 2:308-309 (FHL #005294). A Daniel Collins married in Derby, Conn., 3 Jun 1677, but the name of the wife is not recorded. The birth entry of a son Daniel, born 8 Feb 1677[8], follows this entry (Derby Vital Records, 1:9 [FHL #004058]). Daniel Collins died at Enfield, Conn., 3 May 1690, aged "about" 42 yrs(Hampshire Records of Births, Marriages, and Deaths," [private ms of John Pynchon], entries for Enfield, p. 148 [FHL #014766]). The inv of estate of Daniel Collins of Enfield was taken by Eliakim Coly [Cooley] and Isaac Gleason, 5 May 1690, and attested to by the widow Sarah Collins (Hampshire Co. Probate, 2:66 [FHL #978184]). Eliakim Cooley married Hannah Tibbals, sister of Sarah Tibbals. Hence, it is believed that it was Sarah, dau of Thomas Tibbals, who married Daniel Collins at Derby, Conn., 3 Jun 1677. MAR #2: Pynchon, "Hampshire Records," entries for Enfield, p. 147. The wife is called Sarah "Collins." Also see "Judge Pynchon's Marriage Record: 1685-1711," NEHGR, 123(1969):262, where Sarah is identified as a widow and Joseph as a widower (FHL #974 B2n). MAR #3: No mar rec found. Sarah is called "wife of Obediah Abbey" of Enfield in the agreement of heirs of Daniel Collins of Suffield, 24 Mar 1704, Hampshire Co. Probate, 3:299 (FHL #897184).
