- BIRTH: Rev. John Eliot wrote in the Roxbury church records: "Thomas Lambe, he came into this country in the yeare 1630. He brought his wife & 2 children Thomas and John" (ROXBURY LAND AND CHURCH RECORDS, 6th Report Boston Record Commissioners [Boston, 1881], 73 [FHL #974.461 H2b]). Date of birth is an approximation. He may be the Thomas Lamb, son of Thomas, chr at Barnardiston, Suffolk, 25 Jun 1624 (Patricia C. Lamb, "Thomas Lamb of Roxbury, Mass.," TAG, 56[1980]:99 [FHL #973 D25aga]).
