- BIRTH: No birth/chr rec found. Elizabeth's husband, Josiah Hull, was a legatee in the agreement of heirs of Joseph Loomis of Windsor, 2 Dec 1658, Hartford District Probate, abstracted in Charles W. Manwaring, ed, DIGEST OF THE EARLY CONNECTICUT PROBATE RECORDS, 3 vols. (Hartford, 1904-1906), 1:135-36 [FHL #974.6 P2m]). Date and place of birth are approximations. Elizabeth's birth in Braintree is suggested by the family's continued residence in the town from at least 1617-1635. Elizabeth's father, Joseph Loomis, is called "of Braintree" in the will of Elizabeth's grandfather, Robert White of Messing, 27 May 1617-20 Jun 1617, Archdeaconry Court of Colchester, orig wills, 8:40 (FHL #091258). Furthermore, Joseph Loomis was a member of the Braintree parish vestry from 1619-1635 (F. G. Emmison, EARLY ESSEX TOWN MEETINGS [London, 1970], 11-50 passim (FHL #942.67 K2e). DEATH: No death rec found. Elizabeth was living as late as 29 May 1665 when her last child was born.
