MAR: No mar rec found. Children were born to Nathaniel Foote and wife Elizabeth at Wethersfield in 1646/7 and 1648 ("Wethersfield Births, Marriages, Deaths, 1634-1868," Barbour Collection [typescript, 1927; Conn. State Library, Hartford], 107 [FHL #002982]). The estate records of William Gull of Hatfield include a release of debt from Nathaniel Foote to his "father" William Gull, 19 Jan 1686 (Hampshire Co. Probate 3:83, 85 [FHL #879184]). This Nathaniel is the son of Nathaniel and Elizabeth Foote, born at Wethersfield, 10 Jan 1646/7. Hence, Elizabeth married 1st to Nathaniel Foote and 2nd to William Gull. She is identified as dau Elizabeth Gull in the will of her father, Samuel Smith of Hadley, 23 Jun 1680, proved 29 Mar 1681, Hampshire Co. Probate, 1:213-14 (FHL #879184).
