- CHR: Ridgewell par reg (FHL #1472667 item 10).
NOTE: H. B. Plumb asserts that a John Plumbe was in Newark, NJ by 1667, possibly John (b. 1619). He also suggests that John was married to a dau of Justice Banbury (female), whose will, 30 Nov 1672-6 Mar 1672/3, mentions "my daughter Plumbe." See H. B. Plumbe, THE PLUMBS: 1635-1800 (Perly, PA, 1893), 17 (FHL #929.273 P731ph). This theory needs further work.
