- BIRTH: Robert is identified in the will of his father, Henry Baldwin of Aston Clinton, 2 Jan 1599/1600, proved 2 Jul 1602, P.C.C., 53 Montague (FHL #092013); also in the will of his mother, Alice Baldwin of Aston Clinton, 4 Jun 1622, proved 14 Dec 1626, Archdeaconry Court of Buckingham, orig wills, 1626, #26 (FHL # 088556); also in the will of his brother, Richard Baldwin of Aston Clinton, 18 Feb 1632/3, proved 29 Nov 1636, Archdeaconry Court of Buckingham, reg wills, 36:65 (FHL #088503). Date and place of birth are approximations.
MAR: No mar rec found. A wife Joan is mentioned in Robert's will, below. She was perhaps a Robinson, as he mentioned a "brother-in-law" William Robinson in the will. There are, of course, other possibilities.
