- BIRTH: Henry Hawes and his son Thomas are mentioned in the will of Thomas Hawes of Princes Risborough, 27 May 1554, proved 3 Oct 1554, Archdeaconry Court of Buckingham, reg wills, 10:50 (FHL #088495). No relationship is indicated. He is said to be Henry Hawes of Sanderton, the testator of 1562, in Frank M. Hawes, RICHARD HAWES OF DORCHESTER (Hartford 1932), 11, 12-13 (FHL #929.273 H312h). However, this connection is also uncertain, as Henry's will of 1562 mentions no son Thomas.
