- BIRTH: No birth rec found. Jemima is identified in the adm of estate of her father, John Clark of Windsor, 3 Jan 1715[6], Hartford District Probate, abstracted in Charles W. Manwaring, ed, DIGEST OF THE EARLY CONNECTICUT PROBATE RECORDS, 3 vols. (Hartford, 1904-1906), 2:370-71 (FHL #974.6 P2m). Date and place of birth are approximations. John Clark was admitted an inhabitant of Simsbury, 24 Dec 1686, and to Windsor in 1698. See Henry R. Stiles, HISTORY AND GENEALOGIES OF ANCIENT WINDSOR, 2 vols.
